08/31/2012 07:48PM The water levels were fine, though on the way up, many roadside water pockets were very low. The falls at M Hat were at a regular rate. Much better than the trickle that they were early on. My new favorite lake is South Aegean. If I get back up there, I would be happy to spend a few days there exploring. Lots of character with all the islands, bays and channels. |

08/31/2012 03:58PM Sounds Like a Great time....I am sure Boggs will have a few stories as well. Leano is a great route, and the one I cut my teeth on first solo. So always a special place in my heart for that route. How were the water levels? Was the falls on Mexican Hat at full bore? I think since Leano is so accessible more folks use that route?
