06/21/2013 08:35AM Thanks shock, and for the tips before we left. We will definitely pay a visit to Toe again next trip, even if just for the largemouth as there were a bunch in there. (That's the first time we actually caught LM in the BW). I do like that SAK area a lot; maybe have to change up and go in from the Ely side next time and make that our base. Never too early to start planning the next trip is it? |

06/20/2013 05:56PM awesome report GGrant really enjoyed it. knowing this area well i felt like i was there :) if you had more available time in the SAK/toe,it's good. that pike had to be huge in alpine, i've heard of others hooking into some big pike on alpine and there looking for something substantial out in the rapids. |
