GraniteCliffs	04/07/2016 06:29PM I think they used to be more liberal on the expiration dates, not holding to a calendar year. So a few times even though it was a one year permit it would actually be for say 14 months. Depending on how many Q trips and when they were I was able to skip getting a permit a couple of times.
PortageKeeper	04/07/2016 04:16PM Some of mine have lasted for 16 months but that's because they want it to end (and renew) on your birthday. Now I just renew around my birthday.
thinblueline	04/07/2016 02:46PM Come to think of it, I think it was good for one year from the time you got it, so I think I got a September trip and then a June trip the next year before it expired, or something like that, so maybe that's why I was thinking two years.

Been one year for as long as I can remember, at least back to 2003." It was some how you could get like 1.5 years or almost 2 years once. Some how it made a difference on when you got your permit. Got to think about this. I know often mine would be good for like 16 months. Can't remember quite how,but I do remember working the system so I got the extra time. It was like you got 1 year from issuing your permit than it went forward to your birthday date?

Haze311	04/05/2016 09:14PM Hello, I was wondering how long it has taken people in the past to get their RABC? I sent my application in in February and had my credit card charged over a month ago. Does it normally take this long to receive the permit? Is there a number I could call or an email address I can send a follow up to? Thanks for the help, first time heading to the Q and just want to be sure everything is squared away!
