01/19/2017 09:53AM Not sure which conditions you are asking about but water levels are usually down in the fall so the 'Cascade' isn't quite as impressive then. Consider doing a day hike to the cascade from Shell. There are several places to access the trail. |

01/19/2017 09:22AM Thinking about taking a winter trip up Little Indian Sioux to Upper Pauness into Lower Pauness and then Shell with a day trip to Devil's Cascade. I found a video from BWCA Cast from 2009 and a trip report from Uncle Moose from 2011. Any idea on current ice/snow conditions in that area? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, CC |
