I will be starting my 2nd solo trip Aug 27 and heading to base camp on Insula. I am looking good hanging site recommendations on Insula.

I believe there will be several, but I have hung two hammocks on the island site on the north end. It was a nice campsite with great view down the lake and great hanging trees.

I hung mine on Williamson island in the north. Great site if you can get it.

As long as you are north of the rock/fireline you should be alright just about anywhere.
