I'm backpacking the Angleworm Trail this Saturday through Monday with my brother and planning to leave my tent at home, borrowing my daughter's ENO Onelink setup. I've only ever hammock-camped in predictable state parks, but I've hung plenty of tarps in the BWCA and assume it should be about the same. Anything to watch out for? Anything about the Angleworm Trail area that would be problematic for hammocking?

I will be hiking this trail in about a month but from what I have seen you should be fine leaving your tent at home. That is what I am planning on doing! Shug has an Angleworm Trail video and he was in his hammock. Here is a link to his video if you haven't seen it yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQeJSs9Ievg

Have a good trip and happy hanging!

Awesome thanks, I left the tent at home and had no issues at all, was able to choose great hammock sites at both the top of Home Lake (2097) and the third site up the west side of Angleworm (1898). We stopped to look at the famed Whisky Jack Lake site (Number ???) and it wouldn't be any trouble either.

My daughter's ENO setup was super comfortable but extremely heavy so now I'm going to need to investigate what hammock set up to go with for myself.
