I looked at the Thunderfly when it first came out, but providing a bit more coverage than a hex fly when the rain starts coming down sideways just convinced me that my Superfly was the correct choice.

Yeah, I think I'll stick to my superfly for canoe trips and probably get a thunderfly when I get back into backpacking.
