      Day hikes around Isabella

There are many gems as far as short day hikes around the Isabella area, Tofte Ranger District go.
I believe I have done them all except the one by McDougal Lake.

The Manitou Overlook trail and, Hogback Lake trails are gems, Divide Lake, Flathorn Lake and EIghteen Lake are nice as well

Hogback Lake and Manitou overlook trails are my favorite.
Hogback Lake follows along a cliff overlooking the Lake probabally 60 feet high in places, and leads to a couple dispersed campsites with picnic tables, that are 3-4 star
Manitou Overlook follows a nice trail over a few streams with a bench, ending overlooking the Manitou River a 100 feet or more above the valley below.

I've hiked Eighteen Lake a few times. Really like it.
