Making plans to take Mrs. Mycelia on our early summer trip. Crushed fish last year on Caribou Lake last year on her maiden voyage.. were looking at a mid June trip any thoughts would be appreciated. We are going to base camp!

Best smallmouth lake on the Gunflint is South. Rove and Watap are also very good.

Clearwater ain't too bad.

....and it certainly has the best scenery and is a GREAT, centrally located, place from which to base camp.
