You may want to check with Wilderness Canoe Base, a camp located on two islands in Seagull Lake. In the past there was a small crew which stayed at the camp through the winter. For info try contacting the camp at: wcboffice@campwapo.org or call 218-388-2241.

Seagull outfitters may also have staff onsite. They occasionally have been posting views from their webcam on Facebook.
