I have about 40 BW trips under my belt but have never been to Woodland Caribou. Looking for a 50 to 70 mile loop doing 10 to 15 mile days. Non fisherman looking for great scenery. I would be open to a point to point with shuttle, but a loop is my first preference.

....Leano to Talon...going straight west of Dragon....then north up to South Aegean...Aegean...Wrist...Welkin....Beamish Creek....Haggart....Bulging....east to Hammerhead...south to Rostoul, Hanson, Glenn, Optic, Telescope, Embryo, the Hatchets, Douglas...Johnson...the area has enough birch/aspen/larch that you might hit the color change...Welkin has some great cliffs, the fetch on Haggart, South Aegean, Bulging will invite you to keep paddling, the last part: lots of paddling, few portages...you could portage back to Wrist/Aegean/Paull/Upper Kilburn from Hanson or Rostoul to get back to
Leano...a bit later in September you may hit the moose rut/interesting sounds at dusk...lakers, walleyes, northern available...

If you come in from the west side there are several loops. The SW corner gets very little traffic. Lots to explore around Irregular Lake...that area did not burn in 2016. from there you could go to Welkin, Wrist, Jigsaw, Haven, Bulging and back to Haggart. I have did this area twice in early Sept.
