First open Paddle night is April 25th on Nokomis Lake just north of the swimming beach 5 PM to?
Paddle nights are a informal get together. Bring your own canoe, paddle, and life jacket/ PFD.
(Best to bring a change of clothes in case you get into the water.) I and others can coach some solo paddle techniques if you wish, there is no formal instruction slated for the evening.

bump this up. was at nokomis last night, i don't follow directions very well. water was cold and really windy, no one else on the water. i got spooked, water too cold for any mistake and yes i had my pfd on.

Heading out shortly. it will be good to be on the water again.

According to Dan's Facebook page, the paddle that was scheduled for May 8th (or 9th - I've seen both dates listed) is cancelled due to the bad weather. It is now re-scheduled for May 15 and 22.
