Is it just me or do 20+ pounders come outta cigar island on da hard-water year after year.

It's been many years since I heard of anyone venturing that far into North Bay in the winter, so hard to tell.
Back in the good old days of the snowmobile, quite a few did. :)

Oh u betcha those where the days. Getting the snowmobiles stuck in slush up to the waist. I hiked up there from American point and camped for a week in March of 2014 we caught anything from 1-28 pounders. Let’s just say the slush was beaten down from the weather.
