Get the skis out and put the boat away!

Not a good day to be out camping - cold, windy, chilly, but yes, NO MOSQUITOES!

6" already in parts of Duluth, and still snowing heavily.

In the fall we have Indian summer so in the spring you have Indian winter.

Well will all get mixed up what season it is and maybe some will be tapping maple syrup again next week. My how the year speeds up when getting old.

I think I've put away and then dug back out my winter gear 3 times now this spring.

Pinetree: "Arctic I bet you got a lot of snow?"

I had an even 10 inches of snow between 4pm on the 8th and 9:00am this morning. I feel bad for all of the birds who have migrated up from the south. I had to dump the rest of my bird seed in the woods a few days ago after a bear came in and destroyed my feeders.

The bear looked healthy, and was the same one that has been showing up for the past two years. They never forget a food source.

We had a effin' 2 hour delay in Duluth schools today. Snow! It's summer now, though, so I expect fall by morning.

It disappeared fast though; didn’t it. The Robins and Flickers were poking around the dirt 24 hrs later.
