I am looking for a outfitter who would host/allow me to bring my family and travel trailer for our trip. We are then looking to do a four day trip in the Boundary Waters with a canoe rental for two adults and three little kids. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Looking preferably to be able to use one large canoe.

There is an outfitters tab at the top of your page. The next page has a link to "Request Information from All Outfitters". I'd use that. Your request is a little specific. I don't think I can speak for any outfitters about your request.

Are you looking for an outfitter to just let you park your vehicle and trailer on their property while you take a trip into the BWCA? If so I'm sure many would have no issue with that assuming the trailer is not huge where space becomes an issue.
If you're hoping to spend a few nights in it on their property then you might have to call a few and see what you can work out with them. Most I've talked with seem to be willing to work with guests on their specific needs. All you can do is call around and ask, no way to get an accurate answer any other way.

Canoe Country Outfitters on the Ely, MN (western end of BWCA).
Sawbill Outfitters on eastern end of BWCA. Sawbill Campground is managed by Sawbill Outfitter's for the USFS. My favorite campground to access the BWCA-- although sites have no electric. There are four potable water spigots that are centrally located.
Technically speaking, you can't leave a USFS campground site unattended for a 24 hr period and Sawbill Campground is a USFS campground. For years, I wasn't aware of this rule and would leave my camper at site I rented. No one noticed. ;-) However, there's a large free parking lot adjacent to Sawbill Outfitters where you would have ample space to park your camper & tow vehicle for the days you'd be out for your trip. (sawbill sites reservable at recreation.gov) Parking lot is not under the care or responsibility of Sawbill Outfitters but it's totally safe with hi-visibility from outfitter store/building. Lot is owned & maintained by USFS. Many leave their cars and trailers there with no incidents. Although, aromatic camper kitchen or tasty treats left out on the kitchen table might attract the attention of a night visitor (bear).
Nice folks at Sawbill. Inquire with them about the 3-seater canoes for 2 adults/3 kids. Quiet campground & spacious sites. Pit toilets. Dump station. Hot showers $5.00.
On the far east end off the Gunflint Trail, Bearskin Lodge is an outfitter and manages E. Bearskin Lake Campground for the USFS. Sites also reservable at recreation.gov. Primitive campgound w/potable water spigots, pit toilets & no showers.

The canoe country outfitter moose base is quite nice. I've tented there and bunkhouse. Quite a few trailer/rv spaces. Laundry/bath house/sauna and a small store. Outfit with them and you can leave your trailer there. Great folks.

Gunflint Pines resort on Gunflint Lake has a nice little campground with lots on the lake....I'm pretty sure they also rent canoes, but if not Gunflint Outfitters is right next door and Tuscarora Outfitters is a short drive away.....

Another option would be Hungry Jack Lodge. They have a campground that can accommodate RVs and I think they will work with Hungry Jack Outfitters to get you canoes.
Hungry Jack Lake is not a BW lake, but it's right on the Gunflint by Duncan and Daniels.

I'll add in a vote for Sawbill. Great campground and also great outfitters located right there. And so many different trips you can take out of that EP.
We have camped there multiple times with our teardrop camper and left it in the parking lot for a full week once. They keep an eye on things. In fact, they noted that it was there a day longer than they thought we were staying out so I think a camper of any sort is likely to standout more than another vehicle.

Oh, yeah. I overlooked Hungry Jack Lodge & Cabins for RV stay. You can almost see Hungry Jack Outfitters across the lake when standing on HJL pier. Kid friendly with a sandy kids beach area behind the lodge. That means a shallow, gradual decline into the lake's deeper area. The property has cabins, a campground and one cool lodge on limited acreage so it's tight but manageable. Showers are free! Call Forest to inquire if your camper will fit available sites (14 total) and for rates.
Sometimes, it can be a bit challenging to turn-in early evening for early entry in BWCA due to kids running around screaming till 11 pm. Good grief, Charlie Brown! Musta been a smidge too much sugar in those munchkins. BTW, it's not meant as a slam to HJL management.
