We are on our way leaving Des Moines Iowa to be in the boundary waters tomorrow morning headed to Ensign Lake

Ohh very jealous!! 16 days and we are heading to that same spot. First time in the Ely area for us and of course this lake. Would love to here a trip report when you get back. I am especially looking for camp sites with trees to hang a hammock and tarp.
