I just got done with my first trip into the bwca. We went in at Snowbank on Friday and went up into Ima and Thomas also hit Hatchet. Caught a few walleye on Hatchet and 4 pike on Ima. No lakers. Did pick up a couple of smallmouth on Disappointment heading in. Other than that it was a bust. I think the next time I'm going to try a different approach. So, with that said. Let's see some stringers full of fish! Restore my hope in the BWCA being chockfullofish!
I had an amazing trip and it was absolutely beautiful and I'd go back just for the views. However.... The fishing was harder than I thought to be honest you had to really work for them. I think if a guy was to put in some time and get the little things figured out it be a different story.

I don't have too many stringer pictures from the Q/BW as I usually solo.
Here is a picture of my wife one year from a scout trip. We were tasked with providing the dinner that night.

Basswood last weekend. High winds in a canoe limited lake trout fishing, but not walleyes. My niece with one of her fish. Fish beware she will be camped on Basswood again this weekend.

Last weekend S.Temperance. Was able to bring these home thanks to a fish basket.
