Looking at going up first or second week in September going to go for a week long canoe trip. Planning to basecamp with a couple day trips. Thinking EP 14, or 16.

Any suggestions on lakes/ep for fishing would be great!

Thanks in advance!

Does this question fit better in the fishing board?

The fishing aspect maybe yeah but this is also a decent area for it since you have other questions...

I have only been in that area once and I didn't have my fishing stuff so I cannot really help at all :( It's not my neck of the woods.

EP16 up to Boulder Bay/Tiger Bay area of Lac La Croix. Several options for nice day-trips, over to Iron Lake to Curtain Falls, Warrior Hill and pictographs on LLC. Also good variety of areas to fish; Boulder River area, fish stake narrows, back to Lake Agnes and over to Oyster if you want to try for lake trout to name a few.

We ended up going with EP 14 for entry and exiting EP 16
