Any commercial operators go to the forest service meeting Monday? What was said ? Any outcome?

If you don't feel comfortable talking about it online I understand and will enquire next time I am in town. Thanks JIM P.

I know some of the concerns are tow boats that disperse canoes, motorboats, canoe permit numbers, Praire portage, Trout lake portage and any commercial use in the bwca. Some of the things lost in the past are motor permits to people living and staying on Moose lake. Rental cabins went from 100 to about 30. Four mile portage, commercial photography, cisco trapping. What next? who knows. Maybe people and canoes. Its not the forest service alone making these changes. There are groups from thousands of miles away from here spending millions of dollars to pressure the fs with legal action. The fs also has to use the limited resources it has to fight and deal with these groups.
