Am I mistaken, or in the past were you able to zoom in/out of the maps on this site with the scroll on your mouse?

Now that just moves the page up/down and you have to click the +/- button on the map to zoom in/out.

I greatly preferred the other way - being able to zoom without clicking!

I could be misremembering though...

Adam disabled that feature. See this earlier thread:

I found the old previous map system easier to use

Thanks.

I guess everyone has their own preference.

If anyone is taking votes, I like the old way better!

My vote :) I prefer the new way. My clumsy fingers are always accidentally scrolling with my track pad and then I spend a lot of time trying to get it back to the "just right" zoom.

That has been my experience, too. I haven't used a mouse with a scrolling wheel in a few years. The +/- buttons are less efficient, but way less prone to accidental use.

Use the + and - squares at the top of the map.
Or use your cursor scroll method while holding down on the "Ctrl" key in the bottom left of your key board.
And don't forget to use the "Full screen" mode right underneath the + and -.
I find the maps rather nice to use.
