Anyone have a recommendation for a good walleye mount within an hour of Ely? Not finding much on the interwebs. Would like one for the cabin and I'm not interested in the wait time or cost from my replica guy.

Not sure a taxidermist would have extra mounts. I've found the costs to be similar with replicas.

I have used Tim's Taxidermy out of Britt MN for all of our lodge and customers mounts. He is great and a fair price. His phone number is (218) 749-5384

Thank you! Found his work on FB, right off 53 I like it. I don't have the fish yet, but I'm an optimist with 12 days this may/june to get the job done.

Artistic anglers. Their walleyes are unreal

Not going replica this time. I love Fittante's work but not for 25$/inch and 12-18 month wait this go round. I've checked with Artistic in the past and thought they were a little fake looking for my taste at 18$/inch.

What size fish are we talking about? Optimistically speaking.
