I've done the Granite River twice now but only went half way both times.

I've caught a few walleyes, but I am wondering if there are lake trout fishing opportunities on this trip? Besides for Sag of course. I know there are plenty of trout in there.

Fishing stories are welcome.

I think maraboeuf will be your best bet outside of Sag. You could also target them on Gunflint on your first morning. I’ve heard of Lakers being in Gneiss but don’t think that’s a good chance at all.
