Hi!

I have a NorthWind 17 with Anodized aluminum gunwales. As I sit in quarantine looking for projects to do, I was thinking about refurbishing the gunwales. It's been loved and there are several scratches and dings in it and I am wondering if anyone has cleaned theirs up before?

Is there a paint you can use to touch up the scratches--a method to do it or is it something better left alone.

Really no big deal on it--just a thought with the extra time on my hands.

Most any paint will scuff/scratch easier than the original anodized surface. I'd just leave it alone.

Good advice and what I thought---just wasn't sure if there was some magic trick out there I hadn't heard of.
