Anyone have recent intel on Morgan lake entry point?

Curious how the portage is now and any recent fishing reports for Morgan to vista and up to caribou. Taking son on 10 day tour next week.

Had some luck with some walleyes last week on Vista & Horseshoe. Jigs / Hooks & Leech.

On Vista work off the points in the main bay area. Specifically I had some luck on the northeast point near that small island (Check out on google maps).

On Horseshoe there's a "deep" section on the arm that goes to Gaskin, its easy to identify. It's just west of the southwestern campsite on the lake. Its narrow then it bulges out on each side (north and south) work that whole area. Found some BIG walleye there.

Thanks for sharing. Hope they are still on next week. I worry about the reports of warm water.

The first portage is kinda tough, but we saw a lot of activity, bear prints, wolf prints and moose prints, and at the end of the portage, a cow and calf
