Ive been searching endlessly to find out where the campsites are on these lakes. I know one on dumbell on the island just left outside the boat landing, but where is the other one? I also hear there is some on Harriet and Dam Five but the USFS has minimal info with no detailed maps showing where these sites are.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The other one on Dumbell is across the lake from the landing on the east side, just off the little bay near Vollmer private road.
I doubt there are boat to campsites at the other two lakes, I can't find anything on them and I don't recall there being any when I worked out of Isabella for the USFS.

Harriet Lake has a huge area for dispersed camping all around to the North and West of the campground. Click on my link, go to the 4 tiles under name (upper Left corner) and put the map into satellite imagery (5th slide). It will show all the trails around Harriet Lake campground.

Dam Five lake has one real nice dispersed site at the end of the road and canoe carry down.

Cyber scroll to Dumbell Lake, it will show the other campsite.

Yes i love the drive in site at Dam Five. Look for the little brown sign.A walkdown canoe access and a latrine. And a mile from the Trestle Inn for great burgers and beers.

Another nice dispersed campsite is on Osier Lake 2 miles up the Snake Trail north of Murphy City, west of Hwy 1. Too small except for a very small camper, but tenting would be awesome. The lake is pretty big, over a section I would guess. The Snake Trail is rarely travelled, but the road is good right up to the Canoe Landing. Then it gets pretty bad.
