I was wondering if anyone up in the Ely area could give me a couple of updates on the water and bear situation up there. Specifically, have you been getting any rain up there? Earlier this summer I heard that the stream at EP 23 to Mudro was pretty dry. Wondering if you've got any rain lately to help that out.

Lastly, I also heard about problem bears on Basswood. Are they still causing problems? I don't think they were reported on Jackfish Bay where we're headed, but better safe than sorry.
