Coming in next week, plan on basecamping on stuart. How's the river level? Fishing tips for Stuart and are leeches available in Ely? Thanks for any info!

There's also a very in-depth trip report that is very recent where he went in at Stuart and beyond.

Can’t speak to current river levels but I’d assume it’s lower just like most of the BW right now. Loved the Stuart EP when I did it, great seclusion. As far as leeches, I only checked VNO but they were out as of a week ago when we entered so I would assume it’s fairly similar around town. Have an awesome time! There are some great sites.
