Looks like June 7th to me. *** edit *** wrote this before you silky scene in which you say it was June 7th.
I was on Stuart and we had 4" of rain estimated from radar (checked when I got back). - 45-47F on my Kestrel weather instrument. - My son and I also did very well from shore on Stuart. It got very muggy just a day or two after that cold rain.

The two loudest sounds known to man: a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

On about our 3rd trip my son and I stayed at the west large peninsula on Iron lake. We were new to fishing. It was about 17 years ago and we had incredible fishing from camp. We walked the shore south to north catching one beast after another. All SMB. Our fishing skills have improved but we’ve never matched that day. Next Friday we head out on what I think is my 28th trip.

Nice video!!! That looked like you guys have fun on your trips. The site where the video was taken is a nice site we have stayed there b4.
Several years ago we were at our last campsite on the last day of our trip I stayed behind while everyone else in camp went out fishing. They were gone for several hours and came back with no fish. While in camp I caught my limit of walleye in about 15 minutes. I had the stringer set aside, when they asked if I had any luck I said yes a few. I had released many more than the ones I kept. They were releaved that we had fish to eat, but pissed that they had traveled all over the lake and come back with nothing. Sometimes that's how it works I guess.

My last day like that was a long dusk also on Stuart Lake. For some reason the walleye were stacked up just off our campsite & we caught them until we ran out of leeches. Nothing big, but never caught numbers of walleye like that in one place anywhere!
