I have a canoe that was given to me and I would like to sell it and donate the proceeds to the Ely Field Naturalists. It is an AlumaCraft Quetico17 (QT17 13309). I have been informed by a dealership that they would buy it and list it for sale at $600. It is is excellent shape. I would like to sell it for $500 OBO. It is located in Ely, MN. I can be contacted at 218-235-8078. It is both the previous owners and my desire that it gets into the possession of someone who will put it to good use in outdoor activities for years to come.

Im in eastern Iowa, our Scout Troop just lost a QT17 to the windstorm last month - the canoe trailer with 8 canoes was rolled. One boat came off and the arms went through the bottom.

The irony is that we found out this week that insurance will cover it, and I'll be in Ely next week.
