I know I know, folks who own CCS gear don't want to part with them. My 16 year old son and I are planning on doing the Voyager Challenge next year, and so we're starting to plan and gear up. I'd like to get him a CCS pack for Christmas this year, thought I would post on here and see if anyone is cleaning out closets or whatnot. Thanks for your consideration!

Full size like pioneer/guide or something smaller?

LOL... you might want to re-think that idea. Have you seen or lifted a full Guide Pack? Yikes. The Pioneer is a great pack and holds plenty.

Good luck in your search. Just don't settle for something less.

My “kid” may be 16, but he’s 6’ 1”, 210lbs and can carry a crazy amount of weight. Our food barrel for two different 2 week trips has ripped through two Granite Gear Vapor harnesses on his shoulders...I think we exceeded the weight limit. So, yeah, bigger is fine. Iowa corn fed “kid”.
