Does anyone know of any dispersed campsites worth visiting in Illinois or how I might go about finding if there are any? Thanks.

Shawnee National Forest in far southern Illinois allows dispersed camping. Lots of good hiking options. Water can be hard to find though if you primitive camp so plan ahead.
