Anyone use Lacrosse Alpha Lite boots for canoeing/portaging? Sorry if this has been in discussion in the past, but I've been "off" for awhile.

You should post a link to the ones you are questioning about. There are a few different boots with the same name.

For me I do take a pair of Lacrosse knee high boots that are made from neoprene. I use them on spring and fall trips. They are years old and they don’t make the exact ones anymore. When these go bad I will get another pair.

We'll move this to the Gear Forum once the OP sees this.

I use the 18 inch high Aerohead from La Crosse. That extra few inches has kept my feet dry over my friend's 16 inch muck boots.
