My New Yorker mags are about 4 weeks behind. I'll occasionally go online and request a replacement. Then they tell me it's past time that one is available, and offer to extend my subscription by a week. Yes, please. Then, I go read it online...

BWJ sends their magazine in batches. I was in the last batch for years and generally expected to see my copy within the first 10 days or the quarter. Once in a while, it arrived around the 14th. Hang in there for a while, and then call. I never had a problem when I did not get mine at all, then called to get replacement.
