Indeed, done in 5 minutes. Thank you. So Awesome!!

In and out in 2 minutes. New record!!! Only one trip this year as our first is expected in April.

CoffeeInTheWoods: "Booked all three of my permits without issue in 10 minutes."
Really?- I thought the website said 1 per day per person or they might cancel them! I was going to wait until tomorrow to reserve my second

That's a misunderstanding, I think. The system allows 7 separate permit reservations per session. The 1 per day limit language pertains to reserving more than 1 daily quota permit for any given day: "One permit per day per permit holder. The Forest Service reserves the right to cancel multiple same-day reservations and overlapping reservations under the same permit holder name.
So if there are other permits you want, get back online, there is no rule against it.
System worked great for me this morning as well.

Made my reservation as well no issues. Solo out of EP 14 on May 14 for 9 days.
Best of all he loved the fall. The leaves yellow on the cottonwoods , leaves floating on the trout streams and above the hills the high blue windless skies

3 trips - one in May, one in June, one in August. I think the stipulation is that I couldn't book 3 permits on the same day.

Good deal, thanks for the clarification!

Hey! I got Cross Bay Lake May 23 also!
Mike"
Hey Mike,
Just so you know, we got the first entry time slot that day :) Haha
Probably see you up there. We plan on heading up Saturday and camping somewhere in the area. If you find the Lake Trout, pleeez share the info with me, I have never caught one!! Have a great trip.

Pilgrimpaddler: "I also got my permit for Bower Trout in August with no problem. "
Is everyone going to Bower Trout or Cross Bay? Did I miss a memo?
Going in Missing Link in May, Moose R. North in June, Clearwater in August.

That's one permit per person per ENTRY DATE. That's designed to discourage people from bottling up an EP with multiple groups that all know each other, traveling together, etc. Also cuts down on reserving permits for multiple groups on the same entry date even if they go in at different EPs, unless different accounts are used.
I successfully reserved our two permits today, as always. Aug 1 and Sep 12. Looking for a third, once we set a date for that one.

No problems with the site here as well.
Just a couple of items of note as reminders:
- Have your Senior Pass number handy. Even though mine is entered in my recreation.gov profile, I still had to enter it again. Also, if you know the card numbers for all of your crew members holding passes, there is a place to enter those, too.
- Have the email addresses handy for anyone you plan to enter as an alternate.
- Still no EP numbers

We are heading up on Saturday, also. We will stay at Tuscorora bunkhouse the night before. Sorry, but I am a bad fisherman. Like comically bad. If I caught a lake trout it would certainly be accidental.

I did indeed rock down to Electric Avenue, but I did not take it higher. I regret that.

ckelley: "I had no issue either. I was done about that fast. Although, I got a Lake One permit and did not see Kawishiwi Lodge & Outfitters for a choice of locations to pick up the permit."
I noticed the same thing and gave them a call. Frank said they will not be issuing permits this year.

I had an easy time once I reset my password a couple of times. I'm not sure what was going on with that :) Probably my bad typing skills!

Does anyone know if you can book 2 motorized day permits for the same entry point and the same week? We plan on being in the Ely area for a week in September and wanted to do 2 motorized day trips from the Fall Lake entry.
I did get the 2 permits but wonder if one of them will get canceled.

Got my two permits easily, and an email from the outfitter taking care of my third. Did double back to check - my date for EP 16 is sold out, Lake Vermillion down to 1 permit left, and Duncan down to 1 permit. So I think folks are hopping on quickly this year for those of us who need to plan carefully in advance.

Site worked fine for me as well which was good to see.
Unfortunately someone snagged my EP 19 date (June 13th) before I could get it so I had to settle for the next day. Pretty impressed with whoever it was because I was on at 9:01 hahaha.

ThreeRivers: "The site is hung up for me, wont even log me in once I select my date, my first date for LIS, all 8 permits already gone. Guess I just gotta keep tryin."
What day were you trying to get a permit for #14 for? Must have been a busy "start" day; we reserved a lot of #14 permits with no problem.

Hmm I guess I'm not banned....cool!
I watched the Prairie Portage permits and I counted 6 minutes for every permit to be gone from the opener to at least the week of July 4th, and I venture to say past that.
It's evident that many more people were prepared to reserve them on their PCs at 9 am today.
