I have a Sawyer Cruiser 17’ 9” canoe. Looking for a general $ value. And how to recital the exterior.
Guessing was made in the 1970’s. No serial number. Good condition. Very little use.

There are some Sawyer experts on this site... I am not one of them.
That said, the more valuable Cruisers will be kevlar.
Yours sure looks like a fiberglass boat to me.
Know the exact weight? That may be the most telling measurement if you don't know the layup.
Cheers; hopefully the experts will voice an opinion.

It is fiberglass.

In a normal market not a covid market a couple hundred dollars if in great shape. Any sign of repairs or damage brings the price to under 100.00

Now who knows the market for out door stuff is crazy.

Personally I don't buy fiberglass water craft far better materials out there.

I been known to buy most any canoe if the price is right.

Sawyers have a loyal following and the Cruiser was a nice hull. Have to see what it looks like when cleaned up.
