HistoryDoc: " Kevin has a number of his "Whiskey Fireside Chats" on his Happy Camper You Tube site. Folks like Baird, James Raffan, Cliff Jacobsen and others. All related to the canoe culture.
Thanks Tom."
I loved #55 Justin Barbour. Love his YouTube channel. He's done some crazy stuff. He got picked up by a Canadian cable station so unfortunately he doesn't post much anymore. Little fun fact about Kevin's whiskey fireside chat's is that more often than not he is drinking tea and not whiskey.
Just a guy and his dog. My YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRuOcIgt_VJIRfkZES0GJLQ

I've gotten into Justin Barbour in the last year or so. I enjoy the heck out of that guy! Love the way he relates to his young pup "Saku". I'll never forget the time he was giving him some fish and said "Get it in ya kid!" Like Kevin and Jim he's hilarious in his own way. Gonna watch that one now.

Justin Barbour's stuff is excellent. His trip across Labrador was an epic. I found Kevin's interviews with some of the Canadian canoeing legends like Hap Wilson and Michael Peake very interesting. Also his interview with young Brad Jennings. His site, "Explore the Backcountry," is very good.

I'm still hoping he will finish that Labrador trip. He's said he would do it. What an insane adventure to take on solo with his dog. His trip crossing Newfoundland the year before was full of "things happening". I won't give anything away for people who haven't watched that one but there are 2 events that might have shut down a lot of good people. Pretty dramatic life lessons.
If you're not familiar with Justin, I would watch this one first. 68 days across Newfoundland with his dog. His dog Saku was just a pup around 7 months old. After this series if you're into it then watch his 83 day canoe trek across Labrador.
Across Newfoundland
