Mid size lake, photo taken from campsite on Eastern end. All my trips have been out of Prairie or Cache Bay.

Is that looking thru the narrows toward a bay in the southwest corner. If it is I winter camped there April 1 on the ice. Caught nothing, went to Man Chain, fishing was decent.

While fishing on the channel I had 3 wolves come out of the southwest corner and came right toward I laid down on the ice and I got up when about 140 yard away. They broke off. A minute later here comes 3 more, one coal black. Here they come right thru the narrows, I waited to they were less than 100 yards and still coming. My nerves got the best of me and stood up, they also veered of.

That pack all morning howled back and forth trying to get back together.

Opposite side of the lake. It sounds like you've had some memorable times there too!

That’s awesome to witness that. I’ve never seen a black wolf in person. Those are the memories that never leave our mind.
