Pine Lake is not dead! I did a trip there in mid-March with the fellas from WTIP's Boundary Waters Podcast and the fishing did not disappoint! We went to find Joe some Lake Trout Redemption and even hooked in to a monster pike on a tip-up. I will definitely be heading back to the Arrowhead Trail area to do some more exploring in the future.
