Planning on going through this area as part of a larger trip in early to mid June with a small group. Which of these lakes or the lakes around them is the best to hit and/or the one to avoid? Anyone have any success on these lakes or other lakes in the area? Thanks

We were in this area to hunt and not fish but I'm pretty sure the only lake of the 3 to target fish on would be Wine and that would be for lake trout. One of the coolest looking lakers I have ever seen was posted by a member a few years ago that came from Wine, it had a very red color to it that I've never seen before. Good luck!

Wine. And, I'd focus most of your attention on the lobe where the portage in/out of Frederick is located.
