Does anyone know the best place to purchase the rope he uses in his tundra tarp kits? I was reading through the tarp rope thread and I qould be mistaken but I thought I might have seen that it is 450 paranoid but I could be completely wrong. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

You can purchase from Cooke Custom Sewing. It's definitely not paracord.

Cooke Custom Sewing has the polyester cord custom made for them in New York by the company that developed the "paracord 550 (which is nylon)"
Midwest Mountaineering in MPLS, MN and Rutabaga in Madison WI carry it in Standard or Reflective, Piragis in Ely carries only the reflective version at this time.

Here's a link. It is poly cord, not paracord. I think that Dan said he orders is specifically for his tarps, so it may not be available any where else?
