Interested in hearing any opinions on the Esquif Adirondack. If you have paddled it or know someone who has one, if they like it or not. You all know the routine.
Thanks Jack

I tried it at paddlefest in 2019. Talked to their US rep for a long time. Have been thinking about them recently - a knock about for little streams and ponds - but just bought a Swift Prospector Pack - so need to cool the fleet growth for a while. :)

Not fast, very stable - just like all Adirondacks and Wee Lassies.

Not as tough by any means as the Esquiff but I was pretty impressed by the
Savage River Wee Lassie - as low as 11 pounds! And just 15 pounds maxed versus 42 for the Esquif. But still may have a place as I think about it.

You might look for a used royalex Old Town Pack. They come up frequently for sale. Just saw a refurbished one on another canoeing website. Lighter and probably less expensive and just as rugged.

I should say I liked their Echo as well - very stable and more efficient than the Adirondack but heavy too. I was looking for a NFCT boat - and some long portages on that trail.
