Anyone ever paddled the Range River from Range lake to Grassy lake or have any intel on it? We are headed up at the end of September and hoping to paddle it.

Yes. There are two portages and one pullover the old Cloquet Line in addition to any beaver dams on the river. It’s a nice easy paddle. Once you get to Grassy there is a short portage to the lake.
