Looking for some advice here.....strictly a fishing question (not paddling or boating)....anyone fish the High Falls Flowage in Crivitz, WI? Worth a look for our Plan B?

I'm no expert on High Falls, but I have fished it a couple times. Crappies, bluegills, bass, northerns and muskies are in there (not sure about walleyes). Popp's Resort is a good resource and there are a couple bait shops in the area for info. Popp's also rents fishing boats if you need one.

Don't forget about Caldron Falls Flowage just north of High Falls. The same Peshtigo River, just an impoundment behind another dam.

If you're interested in camping, Governor Thompson State Park is on Caldron. Very nice park.
