In the past, we usually stayed the night before we enter the BW at a nearby campsite. Fenske, Fall lake, Cresent Lake and the like, and those reservations could not be made until after reservations became available for the BW.

I see according to Recreation.gov that campsite reservations are already available and many are booked in 2022.

When did this change?

And I don't recall a minimum night reservation required in the past.

Oh well. Booked a site for 3 days and 2 nights and I'll only use one night the rest of the time the site will be empty.

I believe there is a 6 month window.
