While I didn’t operate the machine, my spouse did, I cut and pieced together the template and pieces. Great tutorial online. Added Mylar inside to add light reflection. Will be making a few thwart bags next.

Glad I can finally post a real project on this thread!

Nice idea and outcome. I have a commercial version of this which is much smaller and thus good only for keys, cellphone, some cash, etc. Your version would be much more useful.

The bag has flexible plastic (backsplash) inserts in the three sides pieces.

There is a bottle rack mount on the seat post and lower triangle and this bike also has two of those same “bottle boss” mounts on the bottom side of the top tube for this specific purpose. So each side will be connected via bolt from the inside with a large nylon washer. The sides with the insert should be stiff enough, I don’t need any extra straps around the frame.
