And the arrowhead isn't alone. 130 would be the coldest and 1 the warmest (bright red)

It's also been a very cold first 4 months of the year in N.MN. Hibbing has had it's 2nd coldest J-F-M-A on record going back to 1962. I-Falls is 6th* with data going to back to 1897 though of much of the 1900's are missing and 1927-1946. Interesting that 2014/ 1996 is right there in the mix and is likely a "blend" comparison for this years ice out -- 2014 colder, but April was not.

The 6-10 day outlook is quite a bit warmer so things should melt faster
