Hello, I am having trouble with the fish finder. Screen is not turning on. I checked the voltage and power wire. They check out fine. Took the finder apart and there is no visible sign of circuitry issues. On’ button seemed fine. Is it gone? Just thought those of you who have or had one might offer some suggestions. Thanks much.

I have a PiranhaMax 220? that quit powering up. I found the connection between the power cord two pin connector and the two pin receptor on the back of the unit were slightly misaligned. The power cord plugged into the unit but one of the pins was not making proper contact with the receptacle, so the unit had no power. I had to bend the pin on the power cord to insure contact with the receptacle. Anyway, you might want to rig up a some heavier test wires that you can manually connect to the two power connectors on the unit to insure the unit is receiving power.
Thanks for the tip. That very well may be. I wasn't able to honestly assess that side since those connectors are with-in the plastic housing. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Have a great rest of the day!
