I recently got this canoe & want to turn it back into a canoe and not a sailboat. First step is to get seat & thwart placement info. Anybody out there have an X-17 and can provide measurements?

You have an opportunity to put the seats where they work best for the people using it. I rarely leave seats where the factory puts them. I wouldn't hesitate to put in a bow slider.
Thanks Sedges. I was able to get measurements from someone with an X-17 on Facebook. It seems like the mast thwart's bolt holes are right about where a normal thwart and back of bow seat hanger hardware would be located. I just need to find a stern spot which is a good compromise between leg room & room for my hips.
I don't plan on ripping out the sailing hardware, maybe someday it can have a double life.
