Only my youngest grandchild has a Quetico lake namesake. It is located a little northwest of Alice lake and almost certainly requires a bushwhack from Gahn. There have been fires in that area over the last decade. I probably wouldn't even consider going to Kendall Lake but the granddaughter connection is making me obsessive/compulsive to visit it. Anybody ever been there or tried to visit? I'd welcome any information or advice. Thanks!

I see no portage into Kendall on PP, and no visible trail on the highest magnification of Google Earth. Probably a bushwhack.

Having said this, I recall that my crew went into North and South Howard Lakes a few years back via Rawn Narrows, and the same was true there.

Have not been, but had it circled for a bushcrash until I learned about the burn. Looks like a cool lake.

I have looked for a route into Kendal a number of times. It is clearly a bushwack and with the fires it would be useful to have current Google Earth information.
