If anyone here has ever stayed at Sagonto wilderness lodge on red pine island on Saganaga, I would love to hear about your experience! We are strongly considering staying at the original 1931 cabin (built by Art Madsen, one of the original 16 Quetico rangers) this summer. We have fished the US side of Sag quite a bit these past few years, and ventured a bit into Canada as well, mostly in Red Sucker Bay. I would love to hear people's impressions of the resort. You can feel free to email me or post here. Thanks a ton!
